“For my piece, I wanted to draw in different styles all mashed into one image, like how the con includes a vast variety of communities. With the prompt of “creating magic in the crossroads” it made me think of my childhood; filled with dragons, knights, and other magical beings. Drawing back people to their youth to remember when life was carefree and fun. Comicon allows us to experience these memories to the fullest and I did my best to incorporate that feeling in this piece while also making sure it’s a piece that will catch the eye of people, encouraging them to check out the con.”
