We invite you to join our team of dedicated volunteers for our upcoming event! Volunteering is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause, engage with like-minded individuals, and gain once in a lifetime experiences. With your help, we can ensure that the event runs smoothly, and our attendees have an unforgettable experience. As a volunteer, you may have the opportunity to assist with various tasks such as set-up and teardown, directing attendees, assisting with concessions, and many others. We’ll provide you with training and support to ensure that you’re equipped to succeed & have fun!. You’ll also have a chance to network and build relationships with other volunteers and event staff. Please read the following requirements before applying.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
Volunteers must be available during the convention dates: January 26 – 28, 2024.
Regular shifts will be 5 hours long. General volunteers are required to work a minimum of 10 hours (or 2 full shifts) over the weekend of the event. The Volunteer Manager will have the Volunteer Schedule completed prior to the weekend of the event, and will make sure everyone has plenty of time to make arrangments.
Volunteers may be requested in a different area than originally assigned based on the needs during the show.
Each volunteer who completes a minimum of 10 hours or 2 full shifts will recieve the following:
– 1 Weekend Wristband
– 2024 Volunteer T-shirt
– 1 Exclusive Print
Volunteers will be expected to arrive on time & complete their assigned shifts.
A Sign-In / Sign-Out form will be located at the Volunteer area.
Volunteers will be required to attend orientation for procedures, policies, and instructions.
Please notify the Volunteer Mananger of any medical condition, dietary requirements, allergies, or special needs that may affect your duties as a volunteer.
Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner that appropriately reflects Victoria Comic Con at all times while on duty or in uniform. Inappropriate behavior may result in the loss of privileges and a ban on volunteering for future shows.
